Heating Mantles
LABAIDS Heating Mantles or Isomantles manufactured by Divine International Techcraft, are used for indirect heating of inflammable liquids that cannot be exposed to direct flames.
Heating mantles are preferred to Bunsen burners or hot plates for organic liquids. These are also ideal for heating round bottom flasks. They provide even heating (no hot spots) and maximum surface coverage for better temperature uniformity. These heating mantles allow for direct contact with round shaped glassware without the fear of shattering because the heating element is insulated from the container.
The heating mantle consists of Single piece Spun body made from non-rusting Aluminum that is Powder coated & stove enamel painted. An Electrical Heated basket or nest made of hard knitted jointless fiber glass yarn is fitted inside the aluminum body. This acts as a basket / nest for the round bottom flask. The temperature of these heating mantles is controlled by an energy regulator. Temperature range is ambient to 400°C.
Glass wool Insulation is provided between the walls to prevent the exterior from over-heating. These heating mantles are available in 250ml, 500ml, 1000ml, 2000ml, 3000ml, 5000ml, 10 Ltrs., and 20 Ltrs. Capacities.
